Roseville Police said Joseph Huston, Detrevious Patterson, Marshauta Daniels and two others currently at-large entered a grocery store in the 1000 block of Pleasant Grove Blvd. and stole several cases of alcohol. Officials say the group then left, entered a second store, and did the same thing.

Officers attempted to pull both vehicles over. The vehicle containing Daniels, Patterson, and Huston pulled over – the other pulled onto westbound I-80, successfully evading police.

Police say the group was involved in a spree of “organized retail thefts” from numerous stores across the Roseville area and possibly Northern California as a whole.

Patterson, Huston, and Daniels were booked into the South Placer Jail on numerous charges related to theft. The two remaining suspects who fled onto I-80 are currently at large.
